Focus and Scope

Indonesian Journal of Cardiology (IJC) is published to meet the needs of physicians and other health professionals for scientific articles in the cardiovascular field. All articles (research, case report, review article and others) should be original and has never been published in any magazine/journal. Prior to publication, every manuscript will be reviewed by peer-reviewers.

 

Peer Review

The submitted manuscript will be reviewed by an editor. It’ quality and suitability with the focus and scope of the journal will be evaluated. After passing the initial assessment, it will be checked for plagiarism before being reviewed by peer-reviewer(s). Indonesian Journal of Cardiology adopts double-blind peer review, in which the manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers' comment would also be sent anonymously to the corresponding author, who has to respond to the comments provided. The decision concerning the manuscript will be then discussed in the editorial board meeting and the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author.

Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed. Authors should declare that their works are free from any kind of plagiarism. In case plagiarised material is revealed in any of the published papers, the paper will be retracted and Editorial board will make a public notice to the readers.

Article Processing Charges

The journal does not charge for submission and processing of the manuscripts.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is published quarterly in a year
